The Cubus sideboard by TEAM 7, also designed by Sebastian Desch, is the calm counterpart to the display cabinet of the same line: a wide dining room sideboard with a strong solid wood top and a clearly structured front. The Cubus range offers extensive configuration depth, from sliding doors to hinged doors to pull-outs and tandem drawers, which can be freely combined with wood or colored glass fronts. Fourteen types of wood in various oil treatments meet a wide range of colored glasses, plus fitting variations from touch opening to stainless steel folding handles to wooden handles.
The plinth can also be adapted to the room: recessed plinth, flush frame, metal runners or wall mounting are available. Inside, inserts such as cutlery or bar inserts ensure organized storage, the oiled wooden surface remains pleasant to the touch in everyday use and can be maintained. The version shown here is made of white-oiled oak with taupe colored glass in a glossy finish and fitted with stainless steel folding handles.
