The Scylla armchair was designed by Gerard Vollenbrock for Leolux and has been a staple of the collection since the late nineties. Its design hallmark is the tubular metal frame that runs behind the backrest and merges into the strikingly upholstered armrests – a nod to the geometric design language of the De Stijl movement.
Scylla is extensively configurable. The armchair is available with a high or low backrest, in two comfort versions, Soft and Firm, with covers in numerous fabrics and leather qualities, freely selectable seam and thread colors, and armrests in Alcantara or leather. The frame is available in chrome or epoxy-lacquered shades. The version shown here combines a State terra fabric cover for the seat, back, and sides with Senso black leather armrests, tone-on-tone stitching, and a chrome tubular frame in the Standard soft comfort level.
