Armchair Classic 260

Erpo's Classic range represents a tradition of upholstery that the Swabian family business from Ertingen has been cultivating since the early 1950s. The Classic 260 model is designed as a cantilever chair: a continuous metal frame supports a compactly upholstered seat and back shell, giving the armchair that subtly springy seating experience that distinguishes cantilever chairs from rigidly fixed armchairs. The character and lines remain understated; the armchair blends into a calm living environment rather than pushing itself into the foreground.

As is customary with Erpo, the model can be configured with a wide range of cover qualities, from structured woven fabrics to microfiber, to pigmented and open-pore leather qualities in an extensive color palette. The metal frame can also be executed in various finishes, from matte chrome to high-gloss polished, and the armrests are available in multiple lengths. In addition to the armchair, a matching ottoman is available, which extends the seating surface into a reclining surface. The version shown here is a CL260.12 cantilever chair with a high backrest and short armrest, upholstered in leather 42.500 in graphite, with a high-gloss polished metal frame, including an ottoman.
