The Runa series from Hartmann relies on solid core oak, whose typical knot patterns, heart cracks and wing branches are deliberately left visible. The product line includes shelves, wall boards, display cabinets, highboards and wardrobe elements that can be combined to create individual arrangements. Characteristic is the straightforward design, which creates an attractive material contrast in combination with cool metal and partly real bark applications.
Hartmann manufactures Runa in several wood finishes of core oak, with different surface treatments and optionally with or without integrated lighting. The body widths and heights vary across the series, so that wall shelves, wide hanging elements and narrower solitary pieces can be planned precisely to fit.
