The Nicolai upholstered suite is designed as a spacious L-shaped living landscape, following the trend of contemporary seating arrangements that have been characteristic of German upholstery craftsmanship for several years: quiet outer contours, clear cushion areas, and integrated functions without visible mechanics. Characteristic is the combination of swivel backrest with headrest adjustment and electric footrest, which assigns the suite the role of both a classic sofa and an extended relaxation landscape.
The product line is extensively configurable. Upholstery is available in a wide range of fabric qualities and leather finishes, from simply structured wool fabrics to smooth aniline leathers. The arrangement is reversible, individual elements such as chaise longue, long chair, or ottoman can be individually combined, and in addition to the electric footrest, the program usually offers further functions such as seat depth adjustment, armrest ratcheting, and different seating firmnesses.
The version shown here is upholstered in Nile fabric in a copper tone with a genuine back, featuring a swivel backrest with headrest adjustment, an electrically extendable footrest on the left side, an armrest with ratchet function, and an L-shaped arrangement measuring approximately three hundred and ten by one hundred and eighty-six centimeters, including the associated cushions.
