The Cubus media center is part of the eponymous living system line from TEAM 7, an Austrian manufacturer that has worked exclusively with certified solid wood for decades. This version is made of solid oiled walnut — a finish that leaves the natural grain of the wood visible and gives the piece its own depth over time.
The media center combines a TV wall mount, indirect lighting, and two glass shelves made of white frosted glass into a compact unit that supports a television without the screen being the only focal point in the room. The wood creates a contrasting accent that makes the living room appear warmer than pure lacquer or metal solutions.
