Koinor manufactures its upholstered furniture in the Upper Franconian tradition and is known for an unusually wide selection of covers. For the armchair series, several hundred covers are available in numerous colors, from robust textured fabric to classic wool fabrics to pigmented and natural leathers. Seat and back can often be executed with different upholstery hardnesses and more casual or firmer upholstery, and the models are generally thirty-six degrees rotatable.
Characteristic is the combination of dimensionally stable comfort and visible craftsmanship: solid wood frames made of beech, oak or wild beech on the armrests, decorative seams as a design accent and rotating bases optionally in brushed nickel-look stainless steel or matte black powder-coated. Functionally, depending on the model, the armchair can be supplemented with a seat extension, headrest adjustment or other comfort functions. The piece shown here is executed with cover Structure 62 in color number 13, with a brushed nickel-look rotating base and a solid wild beech wood frame on the armrest, with particularly casual upholstery.
