The Nicolai swivel armchair is based on the armchair program Type One Thousand Two Hundred and Twenty-Two from the Westphalian upholstery manufacturer Steinpol Polsteria, which has been producing functional armchairs for the German specialist trade for decades. The series is designed as a compact swivel armchair with a relaxation function and is aimed at living situations where an additional seating option should not take up too much space, but still needs to offer a full reclining position.
The model is broadly configurable: several ergonomic or seat height variants are available, as well as various covers in fabric qualities and leather finishes, manual or gas spring-assisted adjustment and a motorized variant, different armrest appearances, and foot designs from a swivel base in star or disc shape to a lacquered wooden variant. The headrest can also be adjusted manually or via an additional mechanism.
The variant shown here is executed with Nile copper 300 upholstery, in ergonomic size L Three with low seat height, gas spring-assisted function, matt black armrests, smooth seat and back appearance, manually adjustable headrest, and a matt black star-shaped swivel base.
