The K491 Ixor comes from the coffee table collection of the Baden glass specialist Ronald Schmitt and was designed by Jens Reinwarth. Characteristic features include the slanted column, which visually sets the table slightly in motion, as well as the stepless height adjustment via the in-house iSup system: A button in the tabletop releases a gas spring, allowing the top to be pulled freely upwards and held at any height.
The model is typically designed with tabletops made of float glass, clear glass, or Optiwhite glass in various sizes; the MDF base is available in matte or high-gloss lacquer finishes, as well as with various metal accents, including chrome or pearl-gloss chrome. Smooth-running castors in the base allow the table to be moved flexibly around the room.
The version shown here is square with a clear glass tabletop made of ESG, a beige-grey base, on castors and height-adjustable.
