The Amaro coffee table relies on the interplay of two materials: a body in light, whitewashed oak and a contrasting glass surround in Optiwhite. The Optiwhite glass, cast almost iron-free, remains colour-neutral in its break, so that the glass surface actually appears pure white and does not tip into the greenish tone of conventional float glass. In combination with the light oak tone, a calm, Scandinavian-inspired appearance is created.
The square basic shape and the low height clearly assign the table to a modern seating group, where it serves as a central storage surface in front of the sofa. The piece shown here is made of Bianco oak with a white Optiwhite back panel and has a square format.
