The 7889 coffee table comes from the Vierhaus table factory, which manufactures its coffee and side tables in Germany and specializes in functional tables with wood-glass combinations. The 7889 is a two-story design: a solid column supports a rotating glass top, with a second solid wood shelf hanging below. The glass top can be swiveled around the column base, allowing the table surface to be flexibly opened towards the seating area and then returned flush with the base.
Vierhaus offers its coffee table series in several wood finishes, typically solid and oiled wild oak and core beech, combinable with differently designed base plates ranging from wood to matte lacquer variants to stone and HPL looks. The top plate is also available in clear glass, tinted, or lacquered glass. The version shown here is in wild oak with a rotating clear glass plate.
