Verena is a box spring bed from RUF Betten, a German manufacturer that consistently produces its furniture at its site in Rastatt. Characteristic of Verena is the patented QLX base, which places the spring core on cushioned plate modules, thus creating an additional level of damping. The model is configured in a wide range: lying surfaces from narrow single to generous family sizes, headboards in several heights and upholsteries, optional bed boxes, spring core or pocket spring mattresses in different degrees of firmness, as well as an extensive library of fabrics and synthetic leathers for the body and headboard.
The leg variants range from short plastic glides to raised wooden and metal legs, which make the bed appear visually lighter or emphasize the ventilation of the base. Since the cover, headboard shape, firmness of the lying zones, and storage solution can be freely combined, Verena can be developed from a purist, understated piece of bedroom furniture into a representative hotel-style box spring bed.
The variant shown here is designed as a compact model with a QLX-BKA bed box in a lying surface of one hundred eighty by two meters, with QLX headboard, cover 063222, black legs, and two matching cushions.
