The Doppio K525 side table by Ronald Schmitt is a square solitaire table with a central column and a solid base plate. The construction with a central column support, typical for Ronald Schmitt, allows for a calm, floating appearance of the tabletop and simultaneously provides the necessary stability. Thanks to the optionally available castors, the table can be flexibly positioned in the room, for example, as a mobile side table next to the sofa or as an occasional table for a book and a drink.
The model can be configured in a wide selection. For the tabletop, the manufacturer offers float glass, Optiwhite glass with nanostructure lacquer in almost any RAL, NCS or Sikkens shade, solid wood in several wood types, and ceramic surfaces. The column and base plate are available in brushed or polished stainless steel and in lacquered finishes in black, white or bronze. The height can also be chosen from two variants, allowing Doppio to be combined into a set with different levels if desired. The variant shown here features an Optiwhite glass top in a light blue nanostructure lacquer and a black lacquered stainless steel base, and is equipped with castors.
