With the 926 coffee table and side table series, Rolf Benz, together with Beck Design, has created a table family whose filigree steel frame floats like a drawn pattern under the tabletop. Instead of classic legs, a continuous frame with soft cut-outs supports the tabletop and gives the tables their characteristic lightness. The series is manufactured in Nagold in the Black Forest.
The 926 is available as a side table and a coffee table in several diameters. Various solid wood finishes such as natural oak, black-stained oak or American walnut are available for the tabletop, as well as marble and lacquer versions. The frame is painted in various matte or silk-gloss RAL colors, so that the table family and living situation can be coordinated with each other.
The version shown here is designed as a side table with a tabletop made of black-stained solid oak, clear varnished, and a smooth lacquered steel frame in Traffic Black RAL 9017.
